Imagine your current self having a phone call with you from December 2019. You inform them of the global pandemic we have been entrenched in for over two years. Shocked, their mind immediately assumes a scene from "The Walking Dead" has taken place. You encourage them to guess how much of the United States population has died in this pandemic.
“50%?” they suggest.
“Nope,” you respond.
“25%?”
“No.”
“10%?”
“Still no.”
“5%?”
“Roughly .2% of Americans,” you finally admit.
They laugh. That is one of the silliest things they have ever heard.
I am writing this to make my voice heard and to be a role model for the next generation. I am pro-face, pro-smiles, pro-connection, pro-breathing fresh air, and a massive supporter of critical thinking… the democratic party is simply anti-freedom. Unlike many of my far-right friends, I personally believe that the COVID-19 pandemic is real; however, it should have been taken with the seriousness that we go into each flu season: with precaution, but not mass hysteria. The pandemic was (and still is) a highly politicized talking point by the left to motivate innocent civilians to vote Democrat, particularly in the 2020 Presidential Election and now as we face the 2022 Midterm Elections. They train these individuals to do whatever they are told whenever they are told to do it, like sheep. This is simply government overreach - stealing the power from the people and making their personal decisions for them. This entire country was founded under the principles of freedom, and I believe it should stay that way. This is not China or Venezuela... this is the United States of America. When you continue to wear a mask, you are simply pushing the agenda propelling us closer to communism. People should choose what is right for them, their beliefs, and their bodies. Forcing people to muzzle their airways and inject foreign, untested substances into their bloodstreams is too far.
The last 25 months have been filled with lies, scrutiny, and overall embarrassment from the left. At the beginning of the pandemic, we were told not to wear masks; Dr. Fauci said so himself. As the pandemic has gone on studies have shown that no good, healthy people are dying, but rather it is typically older people with preexisting health conditions, so why is the radical left instilling fear in the population in good health? We have a vaccine now that was supposed to save us, but as months go by, numbers stay stagnant, and we’re not dead; why are we still living in fear over it? It feels like fear has been plaguing us more than this pandemic ever could. We’re all going to die someday; why are we living in this state of fear rather than going outside and living life? We have always been mortal beings; whatever happens, happens. I want to encourage you to live with what you believe is true rather than following something that is not aligned with what you think is right. Life has always had risks. You might as well enjoy it.
